In a vacuum, a 1-1 draw against Sunderland is a decent point. But that would ignore a lot of context, including Spurs’ attackers utterly failing to convert anything from open play despite numerous chances, and Frank deciding to play defensive football after an exciting and promising first half and defend a tenuous 1-0 lead. Sunderland were also without six players at AFCON.
It’s time to rate the players.
