As many Redding-area schools return from break this week, the winter sports schedule will only continue to get busier and busier.
Boys and girls' basketball teams in the area will tip off league play this week, while soccer teams will return to action on Monday, Jan. 5, after a brief hiatus since late December. Boys and girls wrestlers, coming off the NorCal Championships, will travel for tournaments this weekend before league duals next week.
