Top-12 southeastern Minnesota girls basketball recent performances

Jan. 1—Schroeder, a senior guard, got hot from deep against Winona, hitting four 3-pointers on Dec. 27 and scoring 29 points in a 65-42 win.

Boldt has turned in a heck of a season, already with a number of splashy performances. The latest came Dec. 23 when she scored 36 points and grabbed five rebounds in Houston's 54-33 win over Kingsland.

Storhoff, an all-around senior star, scored 30 points in practically outscoring Wabasha-Kellogg by herself in a 54-33 win on Dec. 22.

Shindelar, who will play next season at Division I South Dakota State, had her usual superb game and did it on Dec. 20 in a 63-57 win over fellow Class 3A power Northfield. Shindelar scored 23 points for the Tigers.

Dobbs, a 5-foot-10, senior small forward, had her fingerprints all over the Cobras' 74-38 rout of Kenyon-Wanamingo on Dec. 19. Dobbs finished with 22 points and 17 rebounds.

The senior was on her game on Dec. 18, the speedy guard scoring 34 points in a 74-55 win over Lake City.

Hust is coming through with another dominant season. The athletic 6-foot senior was at her best on Dec. 16, guiding No. 5-ranked Lourdes (Class 2A) to a 69-43 win as she scored 33 points.

Byron had 11 players score on Dec. 15 in its 89-62 blitzing of Dover-Eyota. But nobody scored quite like star 5-foot-10 guard Madison Ohm, as she tallied 33 points. Ohm will play next season at Division I Marist University.

It was just about this time of year one season ago that Klug heated up with her scoring. This past Dec. 13, she exploded for 28 points and five 3-pointers in Caledonia's 77-27 win over La Crescent-Hokah.

A junior guard, Essig had 30 points and drained five 3-pointers on Dec. 12 in a 74-66 win over Pine Island.

Dec. 11 was a big night for the Vikings senior center as she scored 18 points and surpasssed 1,000 points for her career in a 65-27 win over Grand Meadow.

Truty, just an eighth-grader, knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with 21 points in Lourdes' 67-53 win over Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton on Dec. 30.
