Awaiting the Jacksonville Jaguars is a Week 18 matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
A win and the Jaguars are AFC South champions. So to accomplish that, what is the key to this game for Jacksonville?
Eliminate mistakes.

Now, I know, this is a simple answer and something the Jaguars want to accomplish each week. But if they can do it again on Sunday, they should be positioned well to secure the win against Tennessee.
However, what could make this game close, or even lead to an upset, are costly mistakes, such as penalties, turnovers, special teams blunders, and dropped passes.
The Jaguars have done well to limit penalties in recent weeks, but these types of miscues can derail drives for the Jacksonville offense while extending drives for Tennessee.
Turnovers take points off the board and can provide the Titans with scoring opportunities.

As we saw last week against Indianapolis, big returns by the opponent can lead to points. Two long Ashton Dulin kick returns for the Colts resulted in 10 points for Indianapolis.
At return man for Tennessee is Chimere Dike. He ranks second in the NFL in kick return yards and is second in average yards per punt return attempt, according to PFF.
As far as the dropped passes go, this was a big issue for the Jacksonville offense early in the year, but has since been cleaned up with the addition of Jakobi Meyers, along with having Brenton Strange back in the mix.
As we saw early on in the year, dropped passes can spoil a promising drive quickly.

Any one of these miscues being a big part of Sunday's game could allow the Titans to hang around.
Anything can happen in the NFL, so no game is ever a given. But if the Jaguars can play a relatively clean game against the Titans, Jacksonville's red-hot offense and takeaway-heavy defense will be put in advantageous situations.
