Tuesday nights belong to TGL and this particular one belonged to Atlanta Drive GC.
Patrick Cantlay joined Billy Horschel and Chris Gotterup for this round, he and Justin Thomas were absent from the season-opening win over New York, and they all played well enough to decide the match in only 13 holes.

Hammer strategy is starting to become more understood throughout the TGL landscape and there were several thrown by both sides in this match. There were also a few penalties that impacted The Bay, you have to obviously make sure you are putting the ball in play to have a puncher’s chance.
Here is how things shook out between Atlanta and The Bay.
TRIPLES
Hole 1 (The Plank): Tie
Hole 2 (Pick Yer Plunder): A penalty against The Bay made things difficult and Atlanta won the hole
Hole 3 (Cliffhanger): The Bay successfully threw a Hammer and Atlanta declined which evened the match
Hole 4 (Bay Breaker): This went exactly the same as The Bay saw a Hammer declined as they gained another point
Hole 5 (Fallen Pine/Bridge): Another tie
Hole 6 (Alpine): Fortunes flipped here as it was Atlanta who saw their Hammer turned down to tie things up overall once more
Hole 7 (Set In Stone): Tie
Hole 8 (Temple): Multiple penalty strokes against The Bay made it easy for Atlanta to win the hole and take another lead
Hole 9 (Fore-0-Fore): One final tie to round out triples
SINGLES
Matchups for the singles portion were as follows:
Shane Lowry and Billy Horschel (Holes 10 and 13)
Ludvig Aberg and Chris Gotterup (Holes 11 and 14)
Wyndham Clark and Patrick Cantlay (Holes 12 and 15)
Here are the results from what happened between them.
Hole 10 (Sterling): The same overall formula worked out for The Bay as Shane Lowry got into an advantageous position and threw a Hammer that Billy Horschel declined for another point
Hole 11 (Stinger): Another penalty stoked played a role and held Ludvig Aberg back as Chris Gotterup picked up a point to give Atlanta another lead
Hole 12 (Cenote): Wyndham Clark’s tee shot put him in a real bind and Patrick Cantlay chose to press with a Hammer when they were on the green, but The Bay declined and Atlanta lengthened their lead
Hole 13 (Straight Up): Billy Horschel got the better of Shane Lowry to give Atlanta the point and match win, but given that holes won is a tiebreaker things kept on
Hole 14 (On The Rocks): The rout was officially on as Chris Gotterup beat Ludvig Aberg yet again
Hole 15 (Stone & Steeple): Wyndham Clark was able to salvage a point for The Bay at the end
This particular match saw Lexi Thompson appear on the broadcast at one point and she discussed the major news from Tuesday… the formation of WTGL by the LPGA and TMRW Sports. There is more of this fantastic world on the way and soon enough there will be women that are a part of it.

Will there be an Atlanta version, either in a geographic sense or one of dominance? We will see in due time.
Either way at this present moment the world of TGL and all of its sectors do indeed belong to the ATL.
