Looking ahead to the 2026 NFL draft, this Texas defender should be on the radar of Indianapolis Colts' fans, according to ESPN's Matt Miller.
For the 18 teams that did not make the playoffs, several ESPN analysts recently covered a variety of topics for each organization. When it came to the upcoming draft and the Colts, Miller mentioned Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. as being a good fit for Indianapolis.

"Finding impact players on the defensive front seven is crucial," Miller wrote about the Colts. "Linebacker has been a weak point for the defense, and this draft is loaded with talented prospects with second-round grades. Anthony Hill Jr. (Texas) has the range and versatility to be a good fit."
After trading away their 2026 and 2027 first-round picks to acquire Sauce Gardner, the Colts' first selection this year won't be coming until Day 2 of the draft and pick 47th overall.
Hill Jr. has played nearly 2,000 defensive snaps over the last three seasons. During that span, he has generated 60 quarterback pressures and logged 227 total tackles, according to PFF.
In coverage, he's allowed 8.3 yards per reception with three interceptions and two pass breakups. While mostly playing from the box, Hill Jr. has experience in the slot and lining up along the defensive front.
