Texas A&M's offensive line will endure plenty of turnover this offseason, as four key veterans, including starting left tackle Trey Zuhn III, right guard Ar'maj Reed-Adams, and right tackle Dametreous Crownover, have run out of eligibility and are headed to the 2026 NFL Draft. Needing to add at least two offensive tackles from the transfer portal, two familiar names from an SEC foe emerged last week.
Former Texas A&M commit and starting LSU left guard Coen Echols, alongside Tigers' left tackle Tyree Adams, both entered the portal just days apart from one another, and while Echols connection to the Aggies is obvious, Adams, who is already highly coveted due to his size and experience, could be a plug-and-play option for Texas A&M O-line Adam Cushing, on paper, at least.

Matching Trey Zuhn's 6'7" frame, Adams was one of the more reliable offensive tackles in the SEC when healthy. In eight games during the 2025 regular season, he did not allow a sack, but did surrender 11 pressures, while his worst game in pass protection came against Ole Miss on the road. Still, according to Pro Football Focus, Adams earned 70-plus pass protection grades.
On Friday, several sources, including On3's Jaxson Callaway and Sam Spiegelman, revealed that Tyree Adams will visit both Texas A&M and Kentucky, likely sometime next week, while future visits to Ole Miss, Ohio State, and Oregon are also in the works.
This is great news for Mike Elko and Adam Cushing, knowing that NIL spending limitations aren't an issue, and gaining early traction with Adams is key to potentially landing the veteran tackle.
