Texas A&M is still in the Cam Coleman sweepstakes, looking to land the former Aggie commit who entered the transfer portal this past week, and will reportedly make his way to College Station on Sunday after visiting the Texas Longhorns on Saturday. As it stands, Coleman will likely choose between the two programs, while Texas Tech and USC are still in the mix.
According to On3's Pete Nakos, Coleman will not consider Alabama, which several sources predicted. This could come down to a bidding war between the Aggies and Longhorns. Still, Texas Tech, especially if they land former Cincinnati quarterback Brendan Sorsby, has as much of a shot as any of the four remaining contenders, especially from an NIL standpoint.

It's going to cost whichever school is lucky enough to land Coleman's commitment. Still, given his history with Texas A&M and starting quarterback Marcel Reed's improvement as a pocket passer during the 2025 season, the Aggies should be considered a clear-cut contender and do possess the funds to get a deal done.
How well his visit with Texas will go remains to be determined, but knowing he has already set his visit dates, it's assumed he'll make every trip and make a decision by the end of the week. If the Aggies don't land Coleman, another name has emerged: Georgia Tech transfer WR Isiah Canion is now in play, possessing similar size and playmaking ability.
