The Tennessee Titans have begun their head coaching search in earnest. It's one day after the NFL's 2025 regular season came to a close, and the Titans are wasting no time requesting interviews with potential head coaching candidates.
Previously, we reported that they requested an interview with Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, and now we're learning that the Titans have requested a number of other interviews. Here's who the Titans have asked to speak with so far:

Vance Joseph, Defensive Coordinator, Denver Broncos
As a former defensive back in his playing days, Joseph is 100% a defensive guy. The bulk of his coaching experience is on that side of the ball. However, he did have a stint as the head coach of the Denver Broncos. He will need to have a solid plan for how he wants to run the offense and develop Cam Ward, but his experience and knowledge of the game make him a candidate.
Steve Spagnuolo, Defensive Coordinator, Kansas City Chiefs
Steve Spagnuolo has a storied history as a coach. He started in college as a graduate assistant in 1981, and joined the NFL's coaching ranks in 1999. He's been part of six different organizations in varying capacities, and while he is defensively oriented, he has head coaching experience as well. Spagnuolo's experience in the NFL gives him a big edge, but he will also need to have a plan for developing the Titans' young players.

Lou Anarumo, Defensive Coordinator, Indianapolis Colts
Anarumo will have to answer the same questions as the other defensive-minded coaches: What is your plan for developing Cam Ward? Anarumo is a highly defensive guy with no head coaching experience under his belt. While he's been successful as a defensive coordinator, he has less experience in the NFL than the other candidates. But sometimes, fit matters more than experience, and this could be one of those cases.
