The 6-foot, 207-pound wide receiver appeared in two games for the Vols in 2025. He did not record any statistics against East Tennessee State and UAB.

Jefferson transferred to Tennessee from Alabama after the 2024 season. He did not play for the Crimson Tide and missed the 2024 campaign due to injury.

Jefferson originally committed to Tennessee baseball and former head coach Tony Vitello in June 2021.

"I’m excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and baseball career at the University of Tennessee," Jefferson announced in 2021.

He committed to Alabama football over AuburnGeorgia and Tennessee.
