Tennessee football offers 2027 Georgia offensive tackle

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to four-star offensive tackle Timi Aliu on Tuesday.

"Blessed to receive an offer from Vol football," Aliu announced. "I would like to thank my coaches, family and friends for helping me achieve this offer!!"

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound prospect is from Locust Grove High School in Locust Grove, Georgia. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 26 offensive tackle in the class and No. 24 player in Georgia.

East Carolina was the first school to offer Aliu a scholarship on June 22, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Georgia State, Wake Forest, Sacramento State, Illinois, Auburn, Liberty, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Georgia, Nebraska, Mississippi State, Kansas and Florida.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
