Tee Higgins shoots down silly Joe Burrow conspiracy theory

Back before the regular season ended, there was a little over-analysis of the future of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

Burrow was extremely open in his comments about his outlook on football after a shocking injury comeback.

Some, like former NFL quarterback Kurt Benkert, are still taking a microscope to everything Burrow does and looking for an angle.

A Burrow teammate like Tee Higgins, though, had other plans with the whole thing:

Reading far too much into lyrics on a player’s social media post is peak offseason stuff, so it’s a little shocking to see it the first week of January.

Alas, everything Burrow does gets heavy scrutiny. He doesn’t want out and has made it clear he wants the Bengals front office to do better to field a competitive roster.

Burrow’s certainly not one to take to social media with vague hints, not when it’s been confirmed he does his talking with the franchise through other means.

No matter how obvious it is when it comes to Burrow’s future, Bengals fans better get used to this level of silly over-reactionary stuff ahead of a long offseason.
