Last February, the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Kansas City Chiefs for their second Super Bowl win of the last decade. That win ended the Chiefs' hopes for a three-peat in their fifth Super Bowl appearance in the last six seasons.

Kansas City will miss the playoffs entirely this year, but Philadelphia is back again with hopes of a repeat of its own. They'll face stiff competition from the rest of the NFC field in what's been a dynamic hierarchy atop the standings.

Fourteen teams are competing for the sports' ultimate prize: a Super Bowl victory and the Lombardi Trophy. The playoff field features at least five teams that did not reach the postseason last year. It's a wide-open competition for who will be the final team standing.
