National League bottom club Gateshead have signed defender Brad Nicholson and striker Mark Beck, who returns for his second spell with the club.
The moves came a day after after Rob Elliot was re-appointed as manager, following the team's difficult start to the season.

Beck said he "jumped at the chance" to rejoin his former side on loan from Scunthorpe United, having previously made 15 league appearances for the club last season.
Nicholson joins from Solihull Moors and offers flexibility across the backline, with the ability to play both left-back and centre-back.
The club have also announced the return of player-coach Louis Storey, who has left Dorking Wanderers.
The central defender has signed on until the end of the season and will assist Elliot and fellow coach Jacob Butterfield.
All three were signed in time for the away match against Tamworth on Saturday.
The Heed are at the foot of the table, having only won five of their 24 matches so far this season.
