With the regular season almost over, a new 2026 mock draft has been making waves, particularly when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In the latest Pro Football Focus mock draft, Dalton Wasserman linked the Steelers to a huge 6-foot-4 pass catcher with the No. 20 overall pick — Washington Huskies WR Denzel Boston.

“As their upset loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 17 showed, the Steelers need additional receiving options alongside D.K. Metcalf,” Wasserman wrote. “Washington’s Denzel Boston would bring size and reliable hands to the receiving corps. Boston ranks sixth among qualified FBS receivers in PFF receiving grade (87.8) and has secured 10 of his 13 contested targets this season.”
Over the past two seasons, Boston has caught 125 passes for 1,715 yards and 20 touchdowns thanks to his rare blend of size, speed, and great hands.
Hearing Boston’s name called during the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh would be a dream come true for the Steelers’ offense, but who will be under center throwing him passes next season remains a mystery.
