Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith is shying away from reports that the Tennessee Titans are interested in the reunion, but he assured the media that his attention remains on the Steel City brand of football.

Speaking with reporters on Thursday, Smith addressed the reports that the Titans requested to interview him for a head coaching position, downplaying the situation and instead focusing on his role with the Steelers.

“That’s not something I’m going to focus on,” Smith said. “The only thing that matters is my current job. I tell people, live in the present, don’t worry about the future.”

Smith was a part of the Titans organization from 2011-2020 as the defensive quality control coach, the offensive quality control coach, the offensive line coach, the assistant tight ends coach, the tight ends coach, and lastly the offensive coordinator before he became the Atlanta Falcons head coach in 2021.

Hired to be Pittsburgh's new offensive coordinator in February 2024, Smith has led a Steelers' offense that is 15th in points scored, 22nd in passing yards, 26th in rushing yards, and 25th in total yards this season.
