A talented and versatile running back has been voted as the Pittsburgh Steelers 2025 MVP — and it’s not Jaylen Warren.
On Friday, the Steelers announced that running back Kenneth Gainwell was the team MVP of their 2025 season.
Signing with Pittsburgh on a one-year deal this offseason, Gainwell’s production exploded in his debut season with the Black and Gold — recording 949 yards from scrimmage, 601 return yards, and seven total touchdowns in 16 games.

As impactful a receiver as he is a running back, combined with strong special teams contributions, there’s arguably no player more deserving of the honor.
Gainwell needs just 51 more yards in Week 18 to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career, but he’s no doubt more focused on getting the win this Sunday to give his Steelers their first AFC North title since 2020.
