The Pittsburgh Steelers have made a roster move ahead of the Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, designed to shore up their cornerback and special teams depth for Sunday's contest.

On Saturday, the Steelers elevated cornerback D’Shawn Jamison to their active/inactive roster off their practice squad.

Jamison signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in April 2023. Waived by the 49ers in August, Jamison was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers, where he appeared in 15 games during his rookie season.

Joining the Steelers’ practice squad in September 2024, he would ultimately sign a reserve/future contract with Pittsburgh in January 2025. Jamison was released as part of final roster cuts this past August and subsequently re-signed with the Steelers’ practice squad. He was previously elevated in Weeks 11 and 17, primarily as a special teams contributor.
