While injuries continue to pile up on the offensive side of the ball for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the defense is set to receive a huge boost for the Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
During Tuesday’s press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin discussed some important injury updates and was optimistic that several players who missed last week’s loss to the Cleveland Browns would be available this Sunday against Baltimore, including three key defenders: CB Brandin Echols (groin), CB James Pierre (calf), and T.J. Watt (lung).

Echols suffered his groin injury in the Week 16 victory over the Detroit Lions during a tackle attempt on wide receiver Jameson Williams.
Pierre, who emerged as a starting cornerback for Pittsburgh thanks to his stellar play this season, missed the past three games with a calf injury he suffered back in Week 14.
Watt, as many fans are well aware, suffered a partially collapsed lung as a result of a dry needling mishap and needed surgery. He’s missed the past four games but appears ready to make his long-awaited return against the Ravens in Week 18.
