Of the seven candidates, the Steelers lost out on Hafley, as he was hired by the Dolphins on Monday to become their 12th full-time head coach in franchise history.
Additionally, Pittsburgh's first two in-person interviews will reportedly be Weaver and Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, as well as reportedly meeting with former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy next week to discuss the vacancy.
