Steelers' Aaron Rodgers playing for $500,000 of incentives in Week 18

1 week ago 2

As if the Week 18 matchup couldn't be any bigger for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Aaron Rodgers has a lot on the line if he can lead his team into the playoffs with a victory over the Baltimore Ravens — half a million dollars in incentives.

From his $5.85 million of possible incentives, the $500,000 is tied to making the playoffs, which, as many Steelers fans are well aware, has come down to Week 18's edition of Sunday Night Football between Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

Additionally, Rodgers can earn $600,000 if the Steelers pick up a wild-card win, $750,000 with a divisional round win, $1 million with an AFC Championship win, and $1.5 million with a Super Bowl win. Rodgers can also earn another $1.5 million if he's named AP MVP.

In 15 games, Rodgers has completed 65.6% of his passes for 3,028 yards and 23 touchdowns, while only throwing seven interceptions. He also recorded one rushing touchdown.

The $500,000 is probably the last thing on Rodgers' mind heading into Week 18, but leading his Steelers to their first AFC North title since 2020 while picking up half a million isn't a bad bonus to go along with a playoff berth.
