Missouri football has filled a need for speed.
Cincinnati transfer wide receiver Caleb Goodie, touted as one of the fastest pass-catchers in college football, has committed to Missouri football, he announced via social media on Monday night.

He is the Tigers’ second pledge of the day (and of the transfer portal window), following cornerback Jahlil Florence, who committed to the Tigers earlier Monday from Oregon.
That means Mizzou’s first two portal pledges both hit on major areas of need. The Tigers are expected to chase multiple cornerbacks and wide receivers in this window, and their first commitments reflect that thought.
Goodie has a home-run hitter quality to him.
According to Telemetry Sports, he has touched 22.4 mph while he was at Colorado State in 2024. The site charted him as one of the top-five fastest wideouts in terms of average speed.

Goodie, listed at 6 foot 1, has three catches of 40 or more yards last season with the Bearcats. He finished the year with 29 catches on 51 targets for 480 yards and two touchdowns.
In his final season with Colorado State, where he spent two seasons, he caught 21 passes for 436 yards and four scores. He had six receptions of 30+ yards in 2024.
That likely makes him a plug-and-play replacement for Marquis Johnson, who is transferring to Mississippi State after three seasons with the Tigers.
Mizzou is also set to lose slot receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. and one-and-done transfer Xavier Loyd to eligibility, while starting outside receiver Joshua Manning and backup James Madison II are expected to transfer.
Cincinnati Bearcats wide receiver Caleb Goodie catches a pass and runs for a touchdown.
That means the only Tiger who played more than 100 snaps at wide receiver for Missouri last season who will return is Donovan Olugbode. The Tigers have also announced Shaun Terry II is expected to return next season. The current expectation is that DaMarion Fowlkes will be back in 2026, too.
