Spartans to reportedly host elite JUCO defensive lineman this week

Michigan State football will reportedly host one of the top junior college defensive linemen in the country.

Chris Hummer of 247Sports reported on Sunday that Michigan State will host Iowa Western Community College defensive tackle Andy Burburija for a visit this upcoming week. According to Hummer, Burbuija will visit Michigan State on Thursday.

Burburija ranks as one of the top defensive linemen at the junior college level. According to 247Sports, Burburija ranks as the No. 51 overall prospect and No. 9 defensive lineman at the junior college level.

Michigan State has not yet extended an offer to Burburija, according to 247Sports. He holds offers, though, from nearly 20 schools, including the likes of Penn State, Washington State, Purdue, Auburn, Kansas State, Iowa State, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Boise State, USF and Coastal Carolina.
