Michigan State basketball is listed as a double-digit favorite over conference rival Northwestern on Thursday night.

Michigan State comes into this game looking to build off a blowout win over USC earlier this week. That win came on the heels of a narrow defeat at Nebraska a few days before. The Spartans are 13-2 overall and 3-1 in Big Ten play so far this season.
Northwestern is looking to get their season back on track with a major upset over the Spartans on Thursday. The Wildcats are 8-6 overall and 0-3 in Big Ten play, with losses in each of their last five games against power conference teams dating back to November.
