Spartans listed as heavy favorites over Northwestern on Thursday

Michigan State basketball is listed as a double-digit favorite over conference rival Northwestern on Thursday night.

The Spartans are currently listed as a 11.5-point favorite over the Wildcats in Thursday's home matchup from the Breslin Center, according to FanDuel. The over/under points total is set at 141.5 points for this matchup.

Michigan State comes into this game looking to build off a blowout win over USC earlier this week. That win came on the heels of a narrow defeat at Nebraska a few days before. The Spartans are 13-2 overall and 3-1 in Big Ten play so far this season.

Northwestern is looking to get their season back on track with a major upset over the Spartans on Thursday. The Wildcats are 8-6 overall and 0-3 in Big Ten play, with losses in each of their last five games against power conference teams dating back to November.

Tipoff from the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich. is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on Thursday. The game will be televised on Big Ten Network.
