In roster building season, all eyes are on the transfer portal, but Michigan State has made it's first noise in the high school ranks. The Spartans have added Jack Van Prooyen as a preferred walk-on.
Van Prooyen is a 6-foot-4, 235 pound tight end from Grand Rapids (MI). Attending Northview High School, he has been a late riser that has now found a multitude of college opportunities, now choosing the Spartans. He held additional FBS offers from Air Force, Army, Central Michigan and Western Michigan.
