Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey has had one helluva season averaging 31.1 points and 7.1 assists and shooting 47.5% from the floor and 40.4% from deep. The 6-year guard from Kentucky has taken his game to another level and is leading the Sixers back into contender status in the East.
Maxey had a terrific end to Philadelphia's recent road trip averaging 34.7 points, 8.7 assists, and shooting 61.2% from the floor to help the Sixers finish the trip on a 3-game win streak following an 0-2 start. Philadelphia is now a season-high five games over .500 and Maxey's play earned him Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors.

Maxey and Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija were the Player of the Week honors for their play.
Maxey and the Sixers will now look to take advantage of the month of January as they have 11 home games coming up in the month. It's an opportunity to move up in the standings.
