The New Orleans Saints coaching staff will receive a firsthand look at this year’s offensive line class, as assistant coach Tobijah Hughley has been selected to lead the West offensive line group at the upcoming East-West Shrine Bowl.

Hughley, a recent addition to the Saints’ staff after spending time at Miami, brings valuable experience both as a coach and former player. He played collegiately at Louisville during the Teddy Bridgewater-Lamar Jackson era and will now get the opportunity to help build around Tyler Shough.

With New Orleans expected to prioritize interior offensive line help this offseason, Hughley’s close evaluation of these prospects could play a significant role in the team’s draft preparation.

Headlining the interior group is Texas A&M offensive guard Ar’maj Reed-Adams, a projected mid-round selection in the upcoming draft. At first glance, Reed-Adams looks the part at 6-foot-5, 340 pounds, using his size and strength to consistently impose his will at the line of scrimmage. An exceptional run blocker with impressive power and athleticism, Reed-Adams possesses the tools to develop into a quality starter at the next level.

Another notable name is Alabama offensive guard Jaeden Roberts, also projected to be selected in the middle rounds. Measuring in at 6-foot-5, 327 pounds, Roberts showcases similar traits, particularly as a dominant run blocker capable of generating movement in the trenches.
