The Seattle Seahawks clinched the NFC West and the conference's top seed in the playoffs after defeating the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday to secure home-field advantage until the Super Bowl.

Whether they beat the 49ers or not, Seattle has shown all year that it is in 'win now' mode and has been a title contender for most of the season. Now, with every postseason game they play at Lumen Field with the "12-man," a Super Bowl appearance seems more likely than before.

Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV completely believes in his team's ability not only to make the big game but to win it as well.

Ernest Jones IV says the Seahawks will win the Super Bowl

While the team was celebrating their win in the locker room, Jones got on 'Instagram Live' with the title "Oh yeah, we winning it all."

Even though that statement could have come mainly from the excitement of the win, Jones does have a case for the Seahawks to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season.

Jones and the defense are a massive part of the team's success, as they have been one of the league's top units in points per game allowed, as seen on full display in Saturday's win: Brock Purdy was pressured a ton, and the Niners were held to only three points.

It is well known that defense wins championships, and Seattle has that, plus an offense led by Sam Darnold that can score with the best of them, so only time will tell whether Jones' statement comes true, but you can't blame him for saying it.
