The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks will meet on Saturday at Levi's Stadium for a primetime, divisional battle in Week 18 that will decide the winner of the NFC West as well as the top seed in the conference.
While San Francisco's offense presents Seattle with several challenges, running back Christian McCaffrey is among the toughest to stop, and earlier this week Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald seemed simply lost when talking about limiting McCaffrey's impact.

"All the plays," Macdonald said. "Terrible answer, but it's by situation. Someone you have to account for at all times. He's someone they move around and can do everything. It's a great challenge."
The 29-year-old hasn't had his most-efficient season in 2025, averaging just 3.9 yards per attempt, but he's ran for 1,179 yards and 10 touchdowns while catching 96 passes for another 890 yards and seven scores on his way to a fourth Pro Bowl.
McCaffrey has had two of his best games of the year the last two weeks. He finished with 117 yards on 5.6 per carry and six receptions for 29 yards and two touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts and ran for 140 yards and a touchdown on 6.1 per attempt and four receptions for 41 yards against the Chicago Bears.
