Sassuolo head coach Fabio Grosso believes Inter Milan target Tarik Muharemovic can become “very, very strong”, as speculation continues to grow around the defender’s future.
Speaking to the official Lega Serie A channels, Fabio Grosso reflected on Muharemovic’s development and recalled a telling moment from last season.

The 2003-born centre-back, currently with Sassuolo, has emerged as a player of interest for Inter Milan thanks to his recent performances.
“Last season he came into my office and asked what my plans for him were,” Grosso explained.
“I told him I trusted him, even if at that moment he was less ready than some teammates to play in Serie B.”

What followed impressed the Sassuolo coach. “With great humility, he accepted what we discussed and got to work,” Grosso said. “He has grown a lot and has huge potential.”
The former World Cup winner highlighted both Muharemovic’s strengths and areas for improvement.
“He still has many things to improve,” Grosso added, “but his charisma and personality will help him as his career progresses. He has the qualities of a player who can become very, very strong.”
Those words will only fuel interest around Muharemovic, who fits the profile Inter are monitoring as they plan future defensive reinforcements.
For now, Sassuolo continue to enjoy his progress, while the Nerazzurri watch closely from afar.
