San Jose Sharks young star Macklin Celebrini named to Team Canada

San Jose Sharks young star forward Macklin Celebrini is taking his talents to the Olympic Winter Games Milan Cortina in February 2026 to represent his Canadian roots in Italy.

Team Canada announced their 25-man roster on Wednesday, which includes Celebrini, who is from North Vancouver in British Columbia.

Celebrini joins a stacked roster that includes the likes of Pittsburgh Penguins centre Sidney Crosby, Edmonton Oilers centre Connor McDavid and Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar.
