New Orleans Saints rookie left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. has been ruled out of Sunday's contest against the Atlanta Falcons with an ankle injury he suffered in the second quarter.
The injury took place when a fellow Saints teammate rolled up on his leg, as tight end Juwan Johnson was thrown aside by a Falcons defender. Banks walked off the field on his own power and was later carted to the locker room, but this will be it for him in the Saints' last game of the season.

While we wait for details to emerge on the severity of Banks' injury and how it may or may not affect his offseason growth, backup offensive tackle Asim Richards will take his place for the remainder of Sunday's contest.
If he's able to make the most of the offseason despite the injury, expect the Saints' No. 9 overall 2025 draft pick to continue to be one of the offense's most important members in 2026.
