Riley Leonard starts for Colts, Philip Rivers will remain as mentor

INDIANAPOLIS—There is a good chance that Philip Rivers will be the Colts’ No. 3 quarterback on Sunday.

Rivers will stay and serve as a mentor to Riley Leonard as the rookie makes the first start of his NFL career, but recently-signed rookie Seth Henigan will likely be the backup, Colts coach Shane Steichen announced Wednesday.

The Colts do not plan to activate Anthony Richardson, considering the visual limitations.
