With Dumfries expected to cut ties with Inter, the Nerazzurri have identified Marco Palestra as an ideal replacement.

However, Atalanta have slapped a prohibitive €40 million price tag on their prized asset, who’s enjoying a dream season at Cagliari.

Although Inter cannot afford such a significant figure, they could raise funds by offloading some fringe stars, including Frattesi.
