BATON ROUGE, La. (WGNO) – LSU’s wide receiver room has been shrinking, since the NCAA Transfer Portal opened.

Wideouts Kyle Parker, Jelani Watkins and Edna Karr alum Destyn Hill have already entered the portal, and the Tigers lost another Cougar Sunday night.

Former four-star recruit TaRon ‘Manchild’ Francis plans to enter the transfer portal, according to 247Sports’ Chris Hummer.

Francis was the top-ranked wide receiver in Louisiana for the 2025 recruiting cycle, but the LSU freshman had limited playing time this past season.

The former Karr standout appeared in five games but had no action on offense, finishing the year with zero receptions and targets.

Francis entered the portal the same day LSU secured its first transfer commit: Hawai’i wide receiver Jackson Harris.

Three Edna Karr receivers will now be leaving the Red Stick.

Aaron Anderson declared for the 2026 NFL Draft a week before the Tigers played in the Texas Bowl.

John Ehret alum Zavion Thomas and one-year Tiger Barion Brown are two other receivers who are also heading to the draft.
