The G League's OKC Blue completed a 17-point comeback in a 114-109 overtime win over the Valley Suns on Tuesday. The road victory improved their record to 2-6 on the season.
Early on, it felt like the Blue would head their way to another loss. They were in a 27-23 deficit after the first quarter. The offense continued to struggle with just 22 points in the second frame. They entered halftime in a 48-45 deficit. Not bad, could've been worse.

Eventually, OKC's deficit ballooned to double-digit points. The Suns scored 34 points in the third frame. The Blue left the quarter in an 82-69 hole. It stayed around that distance on the scoreboard for the first five minutes of the fourth quarter.
Trailing 96-86 with less than seven minutes to go, the Blue turned on the jets. They scored 16 consecutive points to completely flip the scoreboard. Zhaire Smith's driving layup capped off the run as OKC was suddenly up 102-96 with a little under four minutes to go.
After Jabri Abdur-Rahim scored on a floater to make it a 107-99 score with less than two minutes to go, it felt like the Blue were on the cusp of an impressive comeback win. They had 38 points in the final frame. Instead, the Suns had one final run in them. They rattled off eight straight points in the final 83 seconds to tie it up at the end of regulation. Damion Baugh ensured overtime with two swished free throws.
Alas, that took all the energy out of the Suns. The Blue went 7-2 in the overtime period to come away with the win. Abdur-Rahim drilled the catch-and-shoot 3-pointer for the game-winner.
