The No. 10 seed Miami Hurricanes shocked oddsmakers and prognosticators alike by defeating the No. 2 seed Ohio State Buckeyes 24-14 in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal on New Year's Eve. The CFP quarterfinal was staged at the Cotton Bowl Classic, and Miami's ousting of the Buckeyes means we'll have a new college football national champion this season.
There were a plethora of Hurricanes legends on hand for this one, including Jimmy Johnson, Michael Irvin, and Ray Lewis. Yes, the Baltimore Ravens' most iconic of club legends, arguably, was amped up on the Canes sideline in Arlington, TX on Wednesday night.
As you can see, Lewis (and Irvin as well) got as hyped up for this monumental win as any superfan of The U. Lewis celebrated Miami's triumph with the same kind of juice that he used to do his pregame dancing in Baltimore.
Wednesday night was obviously a great one for Lewis and his Hurricanes. We'll see if Sunday night goes the same way for Lewis and his Ravens.
