Ravens request to interview Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver for vacant head coaching job

4 days ago 2

The Ravens are resetting the organization after firing coach John Harbaugh following 18 years on the job and one Super Bowl win. Harbaugh will have his pick of the available jobs, while the job he departs should be the best available thanks to Lamar Jackson and elite offensive playmakers.

Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter was also part of that discussion and added another name to the mix: Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver. It appears the Ravens were listening and agreed, because Weaver was the first name to drop.

A former Ravens player turned coach, Weaver was the team's defensive line coach and run game coordinator in 2021 before serving as the assistant head coach and defensive line coach from 2022-23 before departing for Miami.
