Ravens part ways with HC John Harbaugh after Week 18 loss to Steelers

A massive shakeup in the AFC North: John Harbaugh is no longer the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens following their Week 18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On Tuesday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that, after “days of discussion,” the Ravens and Harbaugh ultimately decided to part ways.

Harbaugh’s departure from Baltimore marks the second head coach change in the division, as the Cleveland Browns also parted ways with head coach Kevin Stefanski earlier in the week.

Under Harbaugh as head coach from 2008 to 2025, the Ravens went 180–113 and won one Super Bowl — an impressive résumé that should definitely pique the interest of any NFL teams in need of a head coach this offseason.

One has to wonder if Mike Tomlin would’ve found himself in a similar position as Harbaugh if the Steelers had lost on Sunday Night Football, just one Tyler Loop–missed field goal away from Pittsburgh potentially entering uncharted waters instead of Baltimore.
