Ahead of Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Rams made four roster moves. The most notable was Tyler Higbee being activated off IR and added to the 53-man roster, which means the Rams had to clear a spot for him.
In order to do so, they cut defensive lineman Larrell Murchison, sending him to the waiver wire. They could bring him back on the practice squad if he clears waivers, so his time in L.A. may not be over.

The Rams also used their two practice squad elevations, bringing up Jack Heflin and Tanner Ingle for Week 18. They will both revert to the practice squad after Sunday’s game.
Higbee has been on IR since injuring his ankle in Week 11, missing the last six games. His return strengthens the Rams’ already-deep tight end group, with Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen and Terrance Ferguson doing a lot of damage while Higbee was out.
