Raiders finish 3-1 at Interra Classic

The Northridge girls basketball team finished 3-1 at the Interra Classic, after splitting two games on Tuesday.

After winning twice on Monday, the Raiders fell in the first game on Tuesday to Westfield, 53-48.

Junior Ali Ambers led the way for Northridge with 14 points, while senior Cam Conley added 12.

In the tournament's crossover game, the Raiders beat Franklin Central, 64-57, to earn third place.

The Game was tied going into the fourth quarter, before the Raiders outscored Franklin Central, 18-11.

Lily Scholl led he way for the Raiders with 21 points, going seven-of-seven from the foul line. Zoe Yeater added 13 points and six boards, while Conley added 12 points.

No. 6-ranked Homestead led 43-17 at halftime and went on to roll past Penn, 78-42, in opening round action Monday at the Interra.

Macy Little scored 11 points and Jillian Sanderson added 10 for the Kingsmen, who fell to 11-3.

Also on Monday, the Kingsmen got 16 points from Jillian Sanderson in a 45-38 win over Franklin Central.
