Pryce Sandfort hit his seventh three pointer of the game with 8:05 left in the game and most of us were hoping he could play a little bit longer so he could tie Nebraska’s record of eight three pointers made in a game – by Cary Cochran. At that point, Nebraska was up by 30 points.
Well Hoiberg ran an action for Sandfort and he got an open three point off but missed it. I think that was his last chance of the game to tie the record as he was subbed out on the next dead ball.

Good thing for Nebraska fans is that Braden Frager was still in the game and he was sitting at four 3 pointers made with 4:41 left in the second half. Well Frager is not short on confidence so he went ahead and hit three 3 pointers within the next minute of game time.
Both Sandfort and Frager ended the game 7-11 from the three point line.
This is how dangerous this team can be. If they get production like that from Sandfort (28 points) and Frager (23 points) then they can beat absolutely anybody in the country.
Oh, and Nebraska’s best and most important player, Reink Mast, barely played tonight because of foul trouble. He had five points.

It was a bad night to be a Oregon Duck. They played hard in the first 15 minutes of the game and it looked like their size advantage was going to be a mismatch for Nebraska. It was going to be a problem but then Nebraska went on a 14-2 run to end the first half and it felt like the game was over.
Nebraska is now 17-0 and ranked #8 in the country. Next up is a hard matchup against Northwestern in Evanston, IL. on Saturday at 3 p.m.
