A brand-new, multimillion-dollar, state-of-the-art sports facility is officially open in North Raleigh.
Pro 3:5 Sports Academy is celebrating its grand opening in a new space after more than a decade serving the community. The high-tech building more than doubles the academy's size, creating room for more sports, more kids, and more programs, from camps to leagues.

The expanded facility features flexible space for basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, and cricket.
"There are a lot of things that we can do here that we could not do in the old space. Our court is much larger than our previous court, where we can do leagues and tournaments. We have the ability to do volleyball with the higher ceilings. We have the ability to have more kids, we have adult programs now, we have golf simulators," said Chad Doyle, Pro 3:5 Sports Academy co-owner.
Pro 3:5's grand opening celebration is scheduled for Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The events will include food trucks, a DJ, discounts, and raffles, including free weeks of camp.
