Prep roundup: Hartselle girls roll over Lee-Huntsville

Dec. 31—ATHENS — Hannah Burks poured in a game-high 21 points as Hartselle rolled past Lee-Huntsville 70-32 in girls basketball on Tuesday.

Reagan Isbell added 12 points for Hartselle, while Kate Livingston and Brinley Sams scored eight points each. Elsie Boyd and Mabry Garnett had seven points each.

West Morgan girls 54, Mars Hill 46: Maddie Letson led a balanced West Morgan attack with 16 points as the Rebels picked up a big win on Tuesday.

Raygen Muse had 11 points and 12 rebounds for West Morgan, while Haniyah Standridge added 10 points. Chasity Rikard finished with eight points and 10 rebounds.

Belle Hill scored a game-high 37 points for Mars Hill.

East Limestone girls 43, Madison Academy 40: Kennedy Brown led East Limestone with 12 points on Tuesday.

Katie Hovis had eight points for the Indians, while Sanaa Morgan and Aria Cain added six points each.

Clements girls 53, Brewer 50: Keymoni Holloway scored a game-high 23 points to lead Clements to a win on Tuesday.

Asiah Malone had 17 points for the Colts, who led 21-19 at halftime. Khloe Grandstaff led Brewer with 14 points.

Carbon Hill girls 48, Danville 42: Addison Prater had 14 points and eight rebounds for Danville on Tuesday.

Kallie Johnson had eight points for the Hawks, while Maci Jane Tidwell and Josie Bailey added six points each.

Sulligent girls 36, Danville 34: Tidwell had 11 points for Danville on Monday.

Adily Alberti had 10 points for the Hawks, while Prater added eight points and eight rebounds.

Lexington girls 44, Danville 41: Prater led Danville with 13 points and six rebounds in a game played on Monday.

Johnson had nine points for the Hawks and Tidwell scored eight.

East Lawrence boys 65, Shoals Christian 31: Colt White led three East Lawrence players in double figures with 12 points on Tuesday.

Jay Davis (11) and Trey Trussell (10) also scored in double figures for the Eagles, who led 41-14 at halftime.

Madison County boys 49, Priceville 43: Evan Hopkins scored a game-high 30 points to Priceville on Tuesday.

Colton Madewell had seven points for the Bulldogs, while Evan Mills added five points.
