Make it 12 Iowa State transfers for Matt Campbell and Penn State, as former Cyclone offensive lineman Trevor Buhr joins the express to Happy Valley.
Buhr is a 6-foot-4, 325-pound rising redshirt junior that’s played mostly as the starting left guard for the Cyclones for the last two seasons. He played 583 snaps in 2024 and 453 snaps in 2025, a season in which he missed a few games because of injuries.

I imagine the expectation for Buhr will be that he’ll take hold of the starting left guard spot in Happy Valley, which means we’re starting to get some clarity on Penn State’s offensive line. Anthony Donkoh is almost assuredly moving back to tackle (likely right tackle), while Cooper Cousins will man one of the other interior spots — likely right guard, though center isn’t out of the question. Regardless of the exact positions, Donkoh, Cosuins, and Buhr is a nice starting build for the offensive line given the transition that’s going on within the program.
