One of Penn State's biggest recruits from the Class of 2025 will return to the program.
Offensive lineman Malachi Goodman announced he will return to the Nittany Lions for the 2026 season.
Goodman didn't see any significant time in 2025, as the offensive line was filled with returning veterans, but he was seen as a big piece for the future. Now returning for his redshirt freshman season, Goodman could position himself into a starting role.

He was a four-star recruit, ranked as the No. 56 overall player, No. 9 offensive tackle and No. 2 player in New Jersey, according to 247Sports composite, with some outlets seeing him as a five-star recruit.
Goodman joins multiple returning linemen, including Cooper Cousins, while Matt Campbell has added other linemen from Iowa State.
