On Monday night, Michigan State basketball trounced USC for a nice win at home on alumni night. However, the win ended up not being the big news from the evening. Eclipsing the win, by a lot (I can tell you that our own article data reflect this by an insane degree), was an incident that occurred between MSU legend Paul Davis and referee Jeff Anderson during the game, which resulted in Tom Izzo personally ejecting Davis from his seat.
After the game, Tom Izzo addressed the moment, expressing his disappointment in Davis while clarifying that, while it wasn't a racial or sexual comment, it was '150 percent' the wrong thing to say and unacceptable. On Tuesday, Davis personally addressed the incident and apologized for it in front of the media with Izzo present. You can see what they had to say about it below:
