The New England Patriots announced they have signed rookie cornerback Kobee Minor from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
It's a move that adds depth in the defensive backfield and on special teams for the Patriots.

It has been quite the journey for Minor, who was dubbed Mr. Irrelevant for being the final pick in the 2025 NFL draft. He has been nothing close to irrelevant on the football field as a first-year player who has had to fight for every opportunity on the roster.
The former Memphis standout has appeared in three games and secured one solo tackle. So far, the Patriots have had him in on 17 percent of the defensive snaps and 16 percent of the special teams snaps. He's clearly a scrappy player who can find multiple ways to contribute to the team.
Along with signing Minor, the Patriots also announced that cornerback Miles Battle and offensive lineman Brenden Jaimes have both been signed to the practice squad. All of these moves come as the team shifts its focus to the final game of the regular season against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
