The New England Patriots announced a couple of roster moves on Wednesday, including signing tight end Marshall Lang to the practice squad and releasing running back Jashaun Corbin.
Lang was signed by the Patriots to the practice squad back on October 14 and released on October 16. The Seattle Seahawks originally signed him as a rookie free agent out of Northwestern.

Corbin was signed to the Patriots' practice squad on October 7 and was on the practice squad injured reserve list. He has also played for the New York Giants, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons. He also spent time with the San Antonio Brahmas of the UFL, where he had 97 carries for 514 yards and four touchdowns. He also recorded 18 receptions for 138 yards.
This could be a move to add depth at fullback and on special teams. As ESPN’s Mike Reiss noted, the Patriots could use help there with Jack Westover getting injured in last Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
Westover's transition from tight end to fullback was a huge help for the Patriots after rookie Brock Lampe suffered a season-ending injury. All eyes will be on Westover's recovery and Lang's usage heading into the final week of the regular season.
