Esposito’s last league start dates back to Inter’s 2-1 win at Genoa on December 14.
However, he has since made back-to-back cameo appearances against Atalanta and Bologna, registering one assist.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu is considering bringing him back to his starting XI.

Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram led the line in Sunday’s 3-1 rout of Bologna at San Siro.
Furthermore, both strikers got on the scoresheet, with the latter scoring in his fifth consecutive Serie A appearance.
Yet, Chivu could bench one of his starting center-forwards against Parma amid a brutal fixture schedule.
Meanwhile, Ange-Yoan Bonny has recovered from a minor knee injury and is likely to be part of the traveling squad.
Therefore, the Frenchman could face his former club on Wednesday, though he’s likely to start on the bench.
